The Troy Record reported that a man was killed in a single Albany car accident after fleeing an alleged robbery.

The New York auto accident occurred when the alleged robber ran his vehicle off the road and into a tree.  A police car had been pursuing the vehicle without lights or sirens.

The driver of the vehicle was killed in the Albany auto accident, while his brother, a passenger in the car, suffered several injuries after being thrown from the vehicle.
