Man seriously injured in Buffalo pedestrian accident
December 9th, 2010|
A 29-year old man is in the hospital fighting to recover from a Buffalo pedestrian accident, reports WIVB News 4.
The Buffalo pedestrian accident happened when the man was struck by a driver while he was walking down the middle of Transit Road.
The woman who struck the pedestrian pulled over immediately and called 911. The victim was transported to the hospital to be treated for a skull fracture. He remains in critical condition. Police are waiting for him to recover to get more information about the events leading up to the Buffalo pedestrian accident.
The sidewalks were covered in snow, which may be one reason why he was walking in the road. Do you think it is the city’s responsibility to keep the sidewalks free of snow so pedestrians have a place to walk? Should the driver face any responsibility for the Buffalo pedestrian accident?
