Alice Troy

Attorney Alice Troy was born in Kenmore, New York, and received her Bachelor of Arts in political science and history from Brandeis University, where she was a dean’s list student. Alice then went on to study law at Georgetown Law Center, where she was the treasurer of the Jewish Law Students Association and served as a reading mentor to elementary students.

During law school, she was a summer intern for the Honorable Timothy J. Drury in the 8th Judicial District of the New York State Unified Court System. She also did a spring externship for the Honorable John Ramsey Johnson of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia and a summer clerkship with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of New York in Buffalo.

Admitted to practice law in Maryland and New York, Alice is a member of the Western New York Chapter of the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York.

In her spare time, Alice enjoys watching the Buffalo Bills, catching up on the newest television series, reading, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
