Alice A. Troy

Car Accident Attorney

Alice Troy

Attorney Alice Troy was born in Kenmore, New York, and received her Bachelor of Arts in political science and history from Brandeis University, where she was a dean’s list student. Alice then went on to study law at Georgetown Law Center, where she was the treasurer of the Jewish Law Students Association and served as a reading mentor to elementary students.

During law school, she was a summer intern for the Honorable Timothy J. Drury in the 8th Judicial District of the New York State Unified Court System. She also did a spring externship for the Honorable John Ramsey Johnson of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia and a summer clerkship with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of New York in Buffalo.

When asked what Alice likes most about her job, she said “I am motivated daily to assist my clients through very difficult periods in their life. Being in a motor vehicle collision, slip and fall, or being subject to any other injury can leave someone in a very tragic position and can simply be a very frightening experience. I hope to help my clients through all the complications of their cases and stand beside them providing legal advice, pointing them in the right direction to medical providers, and trying to alleviate their problems. I love my job because it gives me an opportunity to help people every day and provide some understanding to a complicated process. At William Mattar we fight to get every single client the best result in the least amount of time and we will work to do that for you. If you have questions or concerns please call me and I will take whatever steps I can to assist.”

Admitted to practice law in Maryland and New York, Alice is a member of the Western New York Chapter of the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York.

In her spare time, Alice enjoys watching the Buffalo Bills, catching up on the newest television series, reading, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
