Woman severely injured in Rochester pedestrian accident
November 11, 2010
The Wall Street Journal reports that a woman was critically injured after being run over by a bus in a Rochester pedestrian accident.
The 64-year-old victim was crossing the street in a cross walk when a bus, making a left hand turn, struck her and dragged her. The victim had to undergo surgery to have both legs and one of her hands amputated. She is currently in guarded condition.
Police are trying to determine the status of the crosswalk signal at the time the Rochester pedestrian accident occurred.
Do you think the driver of the bus should face charges, even if the pedestrian was crossing against the signal?
