The Post-Standard reports that a police pursuit ended causing a Syracuse auto accident when crashing into a home.

Police saw an SUV running red lights and disregarding traffic signs, and attempted to pull over the vehicle. The vehicle failed to negotiate a turn, and crashed into a garage attached to a home.

The driver entered the home and was found a short time later hiding in the bathroom. A female resident of the home fled the house when she saw that a man was inside. As she exited the house, she fell and hit her head, and she had to be taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries.

The investigation into the Syracuse auto accident continues.
