Officer involved in Buffalo auto accident

WGRZ reports that a multiple injures occurred in a Buffalo auto accident.

Local law enforcement report that the Buffalo auto accident took place after a police officer made a U-turn to pull over a speeding vehicle at West Delevan Avenue and Elmwood Avenue.  The officer was hit by another car while making the U-turn.

The speeding vehicle ran a red light and crashed into parked cars. The vehicle ended up knocking down a light pole and two other vehicles in the Buffalo auto accident.

Several people were taken to a local hospital. Police are still investigating the accident and charges are pending in the Buffalo auto accident.
