A Car Accident on the outskirts of Buffalo over the weekend left five people with injuries. Reports indicate that the crash occurred at around 3 p.m. Saturday afternoon along Bloomingdale Road on the Tonawanda Indian Reservation in Genesee County.

According to an article from Your News Now-Rochester, the vehicle responsible for causing the collision crossed a median along Bloomingdale and struck an SUV nearly head-on. A motorcyclist, who was behind the vehicles in the initial collision, was able to avoid the wreckage by laying his bike down on the asphalt and skidding to a halt.

The crash left the driver and front seat passenger with serious injuries that required paramedics to airlift the pair to local hospitals for treatment. Another passenger in the car, along with the driver of the SUV and the motorcyclist, were also taken by ambulance to trauma centers.

The accident leaves many citizens questioning what they should do if they are ever injured as a result of a motor vehicle collision.

The Buffalo Personal Injury Lawyers with William Mattar Law Offices explain the most important thing to do if hurt in a car accident is to get proper medical care. Then, begin to track all costs associated with the collision. Calling an attorney to discuss your legal rights is the final step in helping to ensure your rights are protected after an accident.
