Crossing guard dies in Rochester auto accident

A school crossing guard died in a Rochester hit-and-run auto accident Tuesday morning, according to the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle. The New York car accident victim was in the crosswalk about 8:20 a.m. when she was struck.
Police believe they found the vehicle responsible for the fatal Rochester pedestrian accident and are interviewing several witnesses.
