10-year-old boy is victim in Rochester auto accident

WHAM-TV reports that a 10-year-old boy was the victim of a Rochester pedestrian/motor vehicle accident. The boy was struck by a car while he was attempting to cross Lake Avenue near Cheltenham Road.
The boy was with a group of kids who were all crossing the road. The group stopped in the middle of the road because of Rochester traffic, and the boy was attempting to go back when he was struck by a vehicle. He was transported to the hospital following the Rochester pedestrian/motor vehicle accident. He later died of injuries suffered in the accident.
