Woman killed in Utica auto accident

WKTV News Channel 2 reports that a woman was killed in a Utica auto accident.

The Utica car accident happened early Friday morning on Culver Avenue.

The victim was one of three people injured in the New York auto accident. The Utica auto accident victim died later Friday afternoon as a result of injuries sustained in the accident.

The other two people involved in the accident received non-life threatening injuries.

The Utica auto accident remains under investigation.

Couple killed in Syracuse auto accident

February 10, 2009

WSYR-TV reports that an elderly couple was killed when their vehicle crashed head on into a milk truck.

The Syracuse auto accident happened Saturday afternoon on Route 5.  The New York auto accident victims were headed Westbound when they crossed the solid double yellow line into oncoming traffic.

A third vehicle was sideswiped on both sides by the two other vehicle involved in the New York car accident.

The driver of the milk truck was not injured. The driver and passenger in the third vehicle were treated for non life-threatening injuries following the Syracuse auto accident.

Police officer injured in Rochester auto accident

February 5, 2009

The Rochester Democrat and Chronicle reports that a police officer was injured in a Rochester auto accident while he was en route to another accident site.

The Rochester car accident happened at the corner of West Main Street and South Plymouth Avenue when the officer’s patrol car was broadsided by another vehicle. The patrol vehicle had stopped at the intersection with his lights and sirens on before proceeding through. He was then hit by a woman driving an SUV.

The driver of the SUV was sited with failure to yield right of way in this New York auto accident. The woman and three children in the car at the time of the New York auto accident were also taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries.
