Possible robber killed in Albany car accident

The Troy Record reported that a man was killed in a single Albany car accident after fleeing an alleged robbery.

The New York auto accident occurred when the alleged robber ran his vehicle off the road and into a tree.  A police car had been pursuing the vehicle without lights or sirens.

The driver of the vehicle was killed in the Albany auto accident, while his brother, a passenger in the car, suffered several injuries after being thrown from the vehicle.

Syracuse bicycle accident leaves one injured

A woman faces three misdemeanor charges including leaving the scene of a New York auto accident after hitting a Syracuse teenager who was riding his bicycle.

The bicycle accident occurred when the woman tried to pass the bicyclist, but instead hit the teenager and pinned him up against another parked car. The owner of the parked car was in the vehicle at the time of the car accident and was able to identify the hit and run driver and her license plate numbers.

The Syracuse bicycle accident victim was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

According to the Post-Standard, police found Hydrocodone pills in the woman’s vehicle and said she appeared to be “highly intoxicated.”

Albany woman injures several in New York pedestrian accident

A New York woman crashed her car into three vehicles and struck two pedestrians after driving down a one-way street the wrong way.

According to The Times Union, one of the New York pedestrian accident victims hit by the driver’s vehicle broke her leg. The other victims involved in the car accident sustained minor injuries.

The driver attempted to flee the Albany auto accident scene, but onlookers kept the woman from doing so. After refusing a sobriety test, the woman faces numerous charges, including driving under the influence.
